Melissa Wurth (AEA) and Marlana Tewes

Clay Central-Everly Elementary School has been named a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Banner Plus Winner for the 2019-2020 school year by the Iowa Department of Education. This award signifies the work CC-E has done to establish safe and supportive environments and enable students to maximize their social, emotional and academic success.

Accepting this award is Marlana Tewes, the Elementary Counselor and Internal PBIS Coach. She helped start the PBIS program when she was hired in 2014 . That same year CC-E was awarded their first award for the work they had done. Each year since, CC-E has received awards for the work done in establishing a strong PBIS program.
