CC/E's 5th and 6th grade TAG students were treated to a visit from veterinarian, Dr. Steve Roti, and his canine companion, Emery, this past week. Dr. Roti dropped in to speak about pet diseases per a request from 6th grader, Gavin F. Gavin is currently working on an independent research project regarding zoonotic diseases in dogs and cats. Near the end of the question and answer session, each student had a chance to use a stethoscope to listen Emery's heart. The little pup loved seeing all the friendly faces at CC/E.
