Mrs. Toft's annual 2-6th grade "Dr. Seuss-themed Book Cover Creating Competition" was so much fun!
We had excellent artists, authors, and poets utilize their creativity to make what they thought would be a fun new Dr. Seuss book!
The ideas were wonderful and showcased our Maverick's vast array of talents!
This year 4 winners were chosen.
Henleigh Stephens and Vera Toft tied for 1st place. 2nd place went to Mason Cummings and 3rd place was awarded to Brynnleigh Anderson!
Each winner won a pass to the Spencer Aquatic Center, thanks to our fantastic friends at Spencer City Hall!

March is upon us! SO, that means we are gearing up for our AMAZING fish fry on March 28th. Don't forget to mark you calendar, so you don't miss out!
CCE will start 2 hours late on Friday, March 7.
No breakfast or AM child care today.
Classes start at 10:20.
We celebrated all things Dr. Seuss this week!
Our Mavericks enjoyed dress up days, book cover contests with prizes, and Truffula Tree snacks delivered by the funnest characters Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3!
The children enjoyed learning about creating rhymes and fun characters, and all about making up goofy words to tell a story just like Dr. Seuss! So much fun!
CCE will begin 2 hours late Thursday, March 6th.
No breakfast will be served, and no early morning child care will be available.
Classes begin at 10:20.
Due to the blizzard warning, there will be no school Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Yesterday was our annual Mother-Son Nerf Extravaganza and it was AWESOME!
The event was made complete with techno/gaming music and delicious goodies from Kay and Nancy, fun Nerf games like Capture the Flag, Freeze Tag, and more, not to mention the decked-out gym complete with strobe lights and bunkers and barriers to hide behind!
Memories were made, fun was had, and precious quality time was cherished by all!
