Good afternoon, CCE families and friends —
Our communities’ hearts are heavy for the Campbell and Cundiff families, who have recently experienced such deep loss and heartache. It’s time to rally together. 💛
Local drop-off points have been set up at Home State Bank (Royal) and State Bank (Everly, Peterson, or Spencer) for those wishing to make donations. All funds collected through January 1, 2026 will be dispersed to both families on January 2nd.
If you’d prefer, checks may be made payable to “CCE Fundraiser Account,” with the memo line reading:
“FBO Cundiff and/or Campbell Families.”
You may donate to both families with one check or specify your preference in the memo.
For those wishing to give digitally, please visit Brianna Cundiff’s Facebook page for current Venmo donation details.
Coming together to lift these two precious families during their time of grief is what makes our small towns so special—especially as the holidays draw near.
Thank you for being the heart of our CCE community. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity continue to show what it truly means to be family. 🩷

You'll be AMAZED that awesome selection we have in our Maverick online store! Options for all sizes (children and adults!)
Check it out today at the link below!

Our 3rd and 4th graders had a great time exploring the veteran exhibits and war exhibits at our local museums! Thank you to the Everly Heritage Museum and the Royal Museum. The students learned so much!

Join us for our Soup & Dessert Supper on Nov. 4th from 4–7 PM! Free Will Donation! Bring your family and friends to enjoy a warm bowl of soup and delicious desserts. Everyone is welcome! We will also be having a performance from some of our talent students at 6:00.

🎀❤️ What a fun week it’s been celebrating Red Ribbon Week at CCE! From themed outfits to today’s costume walk, our Mavericks showed up in full spirit and style! 👻✨
We loved seeing all the creativity, color, and character our students brought to each day. What a great way to wrap up the week! 💪

Students were recently awarded fishing poles through the Jim McDonnell Scholarship, a program dedicated to encouraging youth involvement in outdoor recreation and environmental stewardship. The scholarship honors the legacy of Jim McDonnell, an avid outdoorsman and advocate for introducing young people to the joys and benefits of fishing.
The fishing poles were presented to students from the Jim McDonnell Scholarship Program. By providing this opportunity, the Jim McDonnell Scholarship aims to foster lifelong appreciation for nature, teach patience and responsibility, and inspire the next generation of anglers.
Educators expressed gratitude for the program’s impact on students, noting that hands-on experiences like fishing can help develop confidence, focus, and respect for the environment. The scholarship not only provides equipment but also promotes the values of community, sustainability, and healthy outdoor recreation that Jim McDonnell championed throughout his life.
This initiative continues to connect students with nature—one fishing pole at a time.
