We may have had to cancel our Beyond the Bell field trip, but we made up for it with the most fun Open Gym!
We played in the Nature Learning Center, the playground area, and with the brand new grant-funded Smart & Active projector gaming system too! The Smart & Active system was a HUGE hit, with numerous games enjoyed by all!
Aside from gym and outdoor play, families enjoyed a lesson on the lifecycle of the strawberry plant, a story reading, dance party, strawberry flavored bomb-pop treat, strawberry coloring pages and board game fun!
We had the best time celebrating literacy, all things strawberries, meeting new friends, and enjoying a moment of movement and joy together.

We are all having to pivot in different ways this week. We are so sorry that we couldn’t make the Getting’s trip happen.
We hope you can join us for tomorrow morning’s festivities and let you and your children have a break from the surrounding realities to enjoy a bit of fun for a moment.

Today’s shower hours will be from 8am-8pm.
Our locker-room showers are open to any flood victims seeking a clean and spacious shower environment.
We have game, coloring and movies playing for the children in our air conditioned lunchroom, plenty of snacks and bottled water, all of the toiletry and towel items that one would want and more!
We hope to be a safe place for all during this difficult time. We are praying for all of the surrounding area flood victims.

Clay Central Everly will be opening our locker-rooms to flood victims for the remainder of the week. Hours will vary depending on volunteer efforts and demand from the public, so please check back here daily for updated hours of operation.
Tuesday, 6/25, we will be open from 7:30am to 8pm. (Later hours possible, will post once we know more.)
We thank the Okoboji School District for busing everyone here, local churches for supplies/facilities for people to take refuge, Spencer Chamber for their coordination of services, and our amazing staff/community volunteers for making this shower location possible.
We appreciate all of you and are continuing to pray for the surrounding area flood victims.

Due to the devastation all around, we feel it best to cancel today’s Open Gym so that others can focus on things of more importance and provide support to those in need. Our first Open Gym date will now be on the Sunday of Royal Fun Days on July 21st from 1-3pm.
Multiple bags of Maverick Missions clothing have been dropped off at Faith Pentecostal church on the south side of Spencer on hwy 71. CCE is praying for our Everly and Spencer area friends.

Dear CC-E Community,
We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing to inform you about an important update regarding the future tuition agreement at CC-E with Sioux Central.
Based on the recent information we have received from the Iowa Department of Education, we have decided to place the future tuition agreement on hold between CC-E and Sioux Central. This decision has been made to ensure that we have all the necessary and accurate details before proceeding further. The likelihood of this taking effect in 24-25 is uncertain at this point. The Spencer agreement will continue as planned and will not change as planned.
We understand that this may cause some uncertainty, and we sincerely appreciate your continued patience and understanding during this time. Please rest assured that we are working diligently to resolve any outstanding matters. As soon as we have sorted things out and have clear guidance, we will communicate the updated information to the public promptly.
