Finished up our basketball club for the 3rd-6th graders! They had a blast playing full court scrimmages, pig, and knock out! Always a joy watching them play!

National Hug Day is a day we don't mind celebrating at all!
Fun hugging facts!
Friends, finding the right educational fit for your child matters. We know that decision is hard, especially in the world we live in today. CCE's small classes, individualized learning, one on one care, safe campus, and quality education are JUST THE TICKET for learning and fun to collide in a safe, fun and enjoyable way for your student. When you can drop off your child at school knowing that they are safe, cared for and being nurtured in the best ways that make sense for them individually, you can breathe easy and know they are in good hands. That's CCE. Caring. Connecting. Leading. Nurturing. A home away from home. Now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Reach out to Val in the office to learn how your family can become Mavericks today! check out our promo video at this link: https://vimeo.com/89597675

Clay County Naturalist, Bri Blom, came to the school today to show the children all sorts of fun and educational things! From animal pelts to hibernation play, to acting like frogs and trying chocolate covered worms and crickets…everyone had the best time learning from one of our favorite guest speakers! Thank you, Bri, for visiting CCE and sharing your amazing knowledge with our Mavericks!

We had the best 100th day of school today!! Our Mavericks enjoyed multiple glow-light dance parties and treats, as they partied the day away dressed as 100 year olds. We love our Mavericks and our first 100 days spent with them!

The Leader in Me, student-led, assembly today covered Habit 4 and thinking “win-win.” Students talked about giving shoutouts to staff and other students throughout their school time and even at home with their families. The Student Lighthouse Committee gave shout outs to fellow students and teachers to kick off a school-wide initiative to give praise and shout outs throughout the school day. Kudos to Student Lighthouse for another wonderful assembly!
