We are beaming with joy as we reminisce on this morning's festivities!
The morning began with Mavericks and their families filling the lunchroom for our annual Donuts with Grownups breakfast, made deliciously fantastic by our favorite cooks, Kay and Nancy!
Following donuts, everyone headed to the gym where passports were handed to participating "travelers" before embarking on an educational journey through the Leader in Me 7 Habits! Students manned each station, teaching through visuals, props, and exciting presentations about how the 7 Habits work. Students did a fantastic job!
Next up was our 6th Grade Graduation in the music room. Speeches, diplomas, and a heartfelt reading of "Remember Your Second Home" reminded the Mavericks that the saying is true: "Once a Maverick, always a Maverick" and that they are always welcome back "home" at CCE.
The grand finale consisted of the annual "Graduate Walk," where Pre-5th graders lined the hallways as 6th-grade graduates gave them high-fives to congratulate them on this momentous occasion!
We are SO proud of all of our Mavericks for helping lead this morning's activities, especially our precious 6th graders, who we are truly sad to see go, yet SO excited to see them soar.
Congratulations, Mavericks! We love you!

Today is the day!!
See you soon for a morning of fun!

The preschoolers decided to join in on the birthday fun, heading to Royal's Main Street to celebrate Shirley's 90th!
They brought her a heart bouquet, sang her their Spring Fling concert songs "Mr. Sun" and "Skidamarinkydinky Dink!" and in return she spoiled them with suckers and ice cream!
What a fun day we have had celebrating such a wonderful Maverick friend!
